We arrived late and were given a thorough tour of our accommodations by alberto. The weather was perfect throughout our stay. We loved it. Casa Delfin Sonriente is on the beach. Our rooms were the suites upstairs, opened to the sounds of the crashing waves. It was exactly what we were looking for.
At the airport in Zihautanejo when you get a taxi, just book to your destination. We did not know the protocol that our taxi back to the airport should have been one from Troncones. All worked out okay with guy who took our money at the airport originally meeting our cab and paying our return fare. The fare one way is 600 pesos. He had charged us 1620 pesos for a roundtrip.
We enjoyed eating the locally prepared food on the street that goes back to 200, the T, The more local we ate the better we liked it. These were places we saw no tourists and the food was outstanding.
If you like a vacation that is not at a resort this ticks all the boxes including breakfast as well as beers for 12 pesos each.
